Considered as one of the few experimental schools for design in the country, VDA features a distinguished faculty of practicing professionals, a wide range of finely curated subjects in history, construction, design, research and practice based on ideally located campuses in Bil-Bhaiyli, Vadodara (main campus) and Sindhrot, Vadodara (river side).
VDA’s application process takes place through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses set up the Government of Gujarat. One needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for applying for the Bachelors of Architecture Certificate Degree at Vadodara Design Academy:
1. The candidate needs to meet the minimum qualifying marks of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), as prescribed by the Council of Architecture which is a body set up under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972, by the parliament of India.
2. A candidate must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum aggregate score of 50% marks for all subjects and 45% for SC/ST/SEBC category from Gujarat Board, other State Boards, CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB.
Candidate must have passed Diploma 10+3 pattern of any stream with subject of Mathematics with minimum 50% aggregate marks from Technical Examination Board of Gujarat or other state or from a university established under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 are also eligible for admission to B.Arch. course
International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination
